Our mission

Rockit develops opportunities for young people to explore their creative skills with music performance, production and creation whilst future proofing them with all aspects of the music industry from sound engineering to fashion design and merchandising.

Skills provide a much needed platform for positive well-being, increased confidence and real industry supported opportunities.

RockIt champions the individual, and mentors, volunteers and the community are from all backgrounds, races, genders and abilities who come together to support their development.

Young people aged 11-18 years with a passion for new music are welcomed to join our community, supported by a team of music mentors and volunteers. From beginners to experienced musicians, we cater for every.

RockIt Rehearsals

Saturday sessions are led by our amazing music mentors and volunteers. Young people have the opportunity to create and rehearse original music and covers with like-minded musicians.

Regular sessions run between 9:00 and 5:00 with additional sessions available.

RockIt Presents

Musicians perform live throughout the year playing alongside professional artists from all over the world. Incredible venues host the RockIt community to showcase their talent using experienced sound engineers and a full professional backline.

We provide a platform to highlight their creative journey whilst building confidence through a live music experience.

QAVS 2023

Rock It Bolton CIC have been awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary Service.

The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service (QAVS) is the highest award given to UK volunteer groups and is equivalent to the MBE.

The prestigious award recognises exceptional work done by volunteer groups in their communities.
